The Governor of Ekiti state Ayo Fayose is not in good terms with Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo.
The former president has accused
Goodluck Jonathan of performing below average, and that Goodluck’s era is full of corrupt politicians.
Ayo Fayose who spoke at the Yoruba Progress Summit in Ile Ife, Osun
State on Friday, November 28, said that Obasanjo is not in the right
position to accuse Jonathan because he himself is a corrupt man.
Fayose accused Obasanjo of distributing large sums of money in order to contest for a third term in office.
“If you give your blood to Obasanjo, he will not support you. He
doesn’t want anybody with independent mind. You (Jonathan) did not level
Borno and Yobe the way he levelled Odi; for that, he will not like you.
We know how he was when he came out of prison and how rich he was when
he was leaving office,”
Fayose said.
Joanthan was also spotted at the summit in Ile Ife
