Dieziani Alison-Madueke Becomes OPEC'S First Female President

 The honorable Nigerian petroleum minister Dieziani Alison-Madueke Becomes OPEC’S First Female President. She was elected as the Organization Of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ (OPEC) president today at the ongoing 166th General Meeting of the body in Vienna, Austria.

Her reign is expected to last for a year and she is expected to immediately resume office. The 54 year old replaces Libyan Vice Prime Minister for Corporations, Abdourhman Atahar-Ahirish.
