Kris Jenner Laughs Off Claims Ex-Husband Bruce Jenner Is Going Through Sex Change

Being the head of the Kardashian family, Kris-jenner has been subjected to some pretty crazy rumours over the years, but perhaps the most outrageous is that her estranged husband Bruce Jenner is going through the process of becoming a woman, so it’s no wonder that the businesswoman has laughed off the ongoing speculation as “silly” gossip.

Bruce, 64, has no doubt sported some shocking looks recently with his hair growing ever longer and even appearing to have it layered and blow dried into a huge bouffant earlier this month, but some have gone as far as to claim it’s all part of his sex change to become a woman in the midst of his divorce from Kris, 58. But is he really a transgender?

Straight from the horses mouth, Kris confirms that the rumours are simply just that and her former spouse will indeed, remain a man. When asked during her appearance on the Today show earlier, if Bruce is transitioning, Kris replied laughing: “They’ve been saying that since the ’70s. You’d think it’d be cooked by now, I don’t know – but [that storyline] keeps continuing….They keep regurgitating the same old stuff.”

A ridiculous report by Star magazine earlier this year claimed that Bruce had turned to his longtime friend and transgender advocate, Renee Richards, for advice on whether he should undergo gender reassignment, with the insider alleging she had become his “sex change coach.” However, another insider told HollywoodLife that he had decided not to go through with the procedure as his children, Kendall and Kylie, wouldn’t accept it. “[Bruce] knows the drama it will cause will be monumental, and doesn’t want that media storm even though he’d be more comfortable as a woman,” the source alleged.

It’s no surprise that Kris has defended her husband of 22 years as the pair have remained close friends since separating last year and she has insisted that they’re still pals despite the fact she filed for divorce last month. In the interview with Hoda Kotb this morning, Kris, who is promoting her new cookbook, insisted that they will maintain a friendship, explaining: “I think at some point in your life you have to make a decision to do what’s right for your family and the kids and I think that we decided to be grownups…We’re just better apart than we are together, but we’re still really good friends.”
